The Highland cattle, kyloe, are well adjusted for breeding outside all year around. It is a slowly growing Scottish beef cattle which is also an excellent landscape gardener. The animals are very tranquil by nature. They tend to grow fond of their pastures and keepers.
The breed has got a lot of features which are typical of wild herding animals. The Highland cattle has a strong hierarchical behaviour. The cattle needs a lot of space all year round in order to thrive. The cows take care of their calves until weaning.
